TTI Environmental Labs wants to ensure that your samples meet method requirements…

Please ensure that bottle lids are closed tightly.

Please do not use water soluble inks. These inks get erased and sample info can be lost.

Bagged-ice is the best choice for keeping samples cold.

At least 1/3 of the space in the cooler should be taken up by ice.

Place ice both above and below the samples.

Note: Blue ice packs do not provide cool temperatures for a long time. Please avoid dry ice. Dry ice can compromise sample integrity by freezing it solid which can break the glass containers.

Please place each container in bubble bags to prevent bottles from banging against each other and also to avoid water seeping onto the sample and degrading the label when the ice melts.

To avoid breakage, do not place glass containers one of top of the other in the cooler or lay them on the side.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions about shipping samples and maintaining cooler and sample temperatures.

Note: TTI Environmental Labs provides sample containers, coolers, bubble-wraps, water-proof pens and labels to its customers free of charge, if you are running short on supplies, please do not hesitate to call us.
